The shingle ridge at Blakeney stretches into the distance. These two followed me as I walked up to Blakeney Point. Pioneer vegetation on the shingle ridge. Terns feed at low tide. Path from sand dunes to the beach - a very fragile environment.
View of the dunes from the second ridge. A blow-out. Behind the third ridge, shurbs can be seen. The spit at Blakeney provides ideal conditions for salt marshes. View of first dune ridge and the salt marsh that shelters behind it.
